Noorduyn Aviation Limited Robert B.C. Noorduyn established Noorduyn Aviation Ltd. in 1935 in Cartierville PQ. The company produced over 900 of the rugged Canadian designed “Norseman” Aircraft. Seaplane, Skiplane and Landplane right from the drawing board, the Norseman bushplane earned the respect and admiration of pilots around the world and is a landmark achievement in Canadian Aviation. Red Lake Ontario is considered the “Norseman capital of the world” because of it’s role as a hub for Northern bush flying.
